Synthesis of Dihydro-1,2,4-Triazin-6-one Containing Nitroarginine Moiety

Abstract

Nitrilimines (2), react with nitroarginine methyl ester (3) at room temperature, through cyclocondensation reaction, to give 1-aryl-3-substituted-1,2,4-triazin-6-ones (4a-k). The structure of these compounds was deduced from: elemental analysis, IR, mass spectra, 1H and 13C NMR.
